Cape Cod II

Being on Cape Cod in the off season is quite magnificent.  Everywhere we go, the locals tell us how perfectly we timed our visit, “In another 2-3 weeks we’ll be swarmed with summerfolk.”  It’s hard to imagine sharing the beaches with throngs of people since we’ve mostly had them to ourselves.

Ocean living is thrilling for Eliza and Georgia except for the cuisine.  They were horrified to witness live lobsters being weighed, bagged, and purchased at the fish market today.  They’ve been bonding with sea creatures all week which makes the notion of seafood dinner especially appalling.
