Today we departed St. Louis for a trip that will take us all the way around the world. Dubbed, “the big trip” by our kids, we have created this space to share images and stories from the far off lands we will soon inhabit. We couldn’t have attempted this sabbatical without tremendous support from our family and friends. Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on, nurtured us, and encouraged us to take this giant step into a world unknown. Peace.

So excited for you guys! We cannot wait to travel along with you through your blog. Post lots and girls don’t forget to write daily in your journals. A lot of the places I visited on my trips I forgot because I failed to write about my travels. So record everything that’s worth remembering. You are going to have an amazing trip!
